Follow the Countdown
We will be studying the Space Shuttle and watching a delayed broadcast of the launch set for April 5th. Any early risers can see it live at 6:21 AM on Monday, April 5th. To see the countdown clock click here. We will write a composition about the Space Shuttle and Space Station after the launch. There is always the chance for a delay which would delay our composition.

The Roman Coin Project
In history class today we discussed the Romans' monetary system and the importance of coinage in everyday Roman life. I gave each one of the boys a coin from Ancient Rome which they examined in great detail. The coins are currently soaking in distilled water. The boys will clean the coins once the sediment is loosened and have a keepsake from days gone by. The boys were very excited to see faces and letters already visible on the coins.
