Titanic Journals

In reading class, the boys and girls made an eight page journal from one sheet of paper. After making the journal they designed a title page and then dove into the writing. For this activity the students are pretending that they are passengers on the Titanic, and their journal will tell the tale of their fateful trip. The journals begin on April 9, 1912 which is the day before the Titanic left port. The journals will continue on to tell of the sinking, the lifeboats, and their thoughts as they look back on all that took place. This activity has started off very well and will be completed early next week. Some of the students in class wanted to know the steps to make a journal, so I shot a quick video that shows the steps.
